The Sun Comes Out After 26 Days of Rain

After 26 days of rain, the sun comes out, and so do all the people. In short sleeves and thick scarves, sandles and hats, everyone wants a piece of light to adorn their skin. But it is cold outside. It is the kind of cold that makes the clouds snow in New York. It won't snow here, though, and we won't break the record set in 1953 for 33 days in a row of rain. That's ok with me.
